Description
Several clients are searching for strategic partners / investors for building Hydro Power Plants (HPP, on river) in Armenia. Many projects are ongoing in their different stages, i.e. Pre-project, Applied for License, Licensed, Building.
HPPs are usually categorised according to power potential as follows:
Micro Plants: < 100 KW
Mini Plants: 100 KW - 1 000 KW
Small Plants: 1 000 KW - 10 000 KW
Large Plants: > 10 000 KW
The clients are full or part-owners of many projects in Micro to Small range.
FINANCIAL INFORMATION
Well performed pre-project with necessary analyses and preparations will secure highly profitable plants, with pay back period as low as 3 years of operation in some cases.
POTENTIAL
HPPs constitute a prioritised industry in Armenia, and projects are numerous. The state has determined special favourable tariffs for energy from HPPs. The experience shows that successfully completed and operated HPPs are "cash-machines".
