Description
Overview:
• We are building a new stockfeed manufacturing facility in Northern New South Wales - Australia.
• The plant is designed to manufacture both pelletised stockfeed and loose grain rations in bulk and bagged form.
• Delivery direct to farms in a specially designed auger truck, and leasing self feeders will be unique selling points.
• An RTA accredited Public Weighbridge will operate on the site.
• The plant has the capacity to produce 70,000 tonnes per year.
• It is situated in the heart of the New England Tablelands where the entire region is devoted to producing and finishing sheep and cattle and close to coastal dairy farms.
• Access to the grain growing regions of Darling Downs, Northern NSW and Liverpool Plains is also close for raw material supply.
• High rainfall and high value land is increasingly required to run higher stock numbers leading to a push for more intensive feeding regimes being followed in this area.
• Winter feeding of stock is a yearly requirement ensuring good yearly demand.
• The two partners involved are both local with extensive experience in stockfeeds and stock feeding.
• The plant manager has many years of experience in a major pellet manufacturing company.
• Plant value $4.5m upon completion (Oct 07).
Forecast:
• Turnover forecast of $4.7m Year 1 ($8m by 2012 – 70% growth)
• Enterprise value of $8.3m after 5 years
Investment:
• Additional investment of $1,800,000, or part thereof, is required.
• With this investment, the investor will receive equity in the company to be negotiated and a seat on the board.
